Not PCA. You must currently have an up-to-date Home Health Aide Certification (we do not offer training.)
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients in their homes.
*** Primary location for HHA cases are North Tonawanda, NY. ***
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility assistance.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Administer medication under the direction of a nurse or healthcare provider.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status.
- Assist with specialized care such as dementia care, tube feeding, and other medical needs.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.
- Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a formal training program is a plus.
